Description |
A very attractive pumpkin orange main Scheelite sets perched atop a matrix of Muscovite with some fine little ice blue Aquamarine and Quartz crystals speckled on the surface. This beautiful miniature is a very fine example of this material from this highly sought after Pingwu locality, which is known to produce some of the most visually impressive Scheelites on the market, showing both excellent saturation and perfect octahedral crystal form. This specimen features one main crystal intergrowing with another on the matrix, plus a second smaller, but perfect crystal neatly placed just to the side. This material is difficult to main from a high altitude and very remote mountainous location, making it both difficult to acquire, expensive, and exceedingly sought after! |
