Use this tool to try to identify a specimen you have acquired. Be sure to follow these guidelines:
Photograph your specimens from several angles.
An LED Light box is suggested, if available to ensure your specimen is properly lit and isolated.
Take the picture against a smooth black background .
Use bright lighting in the daylight frequency range 5500K-6500K.
Upload the specimen image.
Provide any details you have available on the specimen's luster.
