Minerals from around the world

The Dynamic Earth Collection features minerals from the countries marked on the map at left. Each country shows the number of minerals currently represented in the collection. It's our goal to find unique and exceptional mineral specimens from every country in the world*. We're proud to have minerals represented from continent including Antarctica, and many remote locations like Greenland, Tasmania, Alaska, and the north sea island of Helgoland!

Note that the country and state map markers show just one marker per country or state, not the exact source locations. We are still working on building out specific latitude / longitude for precise locations of each specimen.

* Due to import restrctions, we will not be able to represent certain countries where prohibited by U.S. trade policies. All minerals are imported from legal sellers and subject to U.S. customs and mineral supply chain rules including the Kimberly process to prevent acquisition/trade in conflict minerals.
