Description |
A nice old collection sample of massive Azurite in a granular quartz matrix from the underground Cap Garonne Mine in the south of France. This important and prolific mine near Toulon in the south of France is associated with over 100 new mineral discoveries. This mine has been closed since 1917, but boasts 14 type locality minerals, and now houses a mining museum which pays homage to the rich mining history of this classic locality. |
