Description |
A beautiful, well-formed cluster of blue green octohedral fluorite from this famous occurrence in South Africa. The source of this specimen is an area close to the Namibian border in the Orange River valley, which produces a large variety of exceptional and celebrated mineral species. The unique green color of Riemvasmaak fluorite is due in part to the presence of rare earth lanthanide inclusions in the crystals. |
