| Description |
This specimen displays the exceptionally rare thallium sulfosalt mineral hutchinsonite, interspersed with bright, fire orange arsenic sulfide orpiment. This is an exemplary specimen, showing sharp acicular hutchinsonite crystals generously sprinkled on the matrix, which are attractively ensconced by the associated bulbous orpiment crystals. A rare and unusual combination formerly of the D.J. Parsons collection. |
