Description |
A very attractive and complex multi-mineral specimen displaying well terminated crystalline calcite on top of a matrix of ocean blue azurite with veins and patches of light aqua green aurichalcite. This remarkable material comes from the northern Santa Rita mountains, just southeast of Tucson AZ, where dozens of mines operated since the late 1800's. |
