Origin Location |
Black Knife Mine, Sierra County, New Mexico, USA |
Description |
Very unusual red and green pseudo growth over a multi pronged dogtooth calcite twin. Almost looks like moss growing, but it's some kind of copper mineral which imparts a wonderful grass green "camo" over the red brown under layer. A very special piece which exhibits interesting shape, color and texture, from a desirable southwestern US locality. |
