Description |
This large slice of a polish flint nodule resembles petrified wood, with spectacular banding patterns and a 1-2 cm white shell around the entire outside of the slice. A wonderful specimen of this interesting and attractive material that has a long history of use as flint knapping material and as fire starter going back to prehistoric times. |
